This piece is rich and exotic, with thick paint and lots of texture.

It took me quite a while and I loved the experience. I changed it up several times and enjoyed the process.

I let the colors and shapes come together as I went  along, without  a road map as it were.

It has an ancient feeling, like a tapestry or old postage stamp that a collector discovered.

It has become a nice companion to my last 48x36 woman titled Higher Ground. The two compliment one another.
