Keeping in the abstract, this is a larger version of Docked.

The reference photo I used is so busy and confusing so the abstract nature is easy to capture. Many of the boats and docks are partially hidden and obscure. It's really an abstract photograph.

Using my typical palette of cool blues and yellow ochre, it works well with the abstract and vintage nature of the piece.

I am donating Docked 2 to the LCAD auction and dinner event to raise funds for the Laguna College of Art and Design.

It is a very fine art college and a wonderful evening to partake in art and fine dining.
