At the end of the peninsula in Newport Beach, California there is a body surfer's delight. The waves come in a "v "shape and the place is The Wedge. On red flag days when the surf is really up, spectators line the beach for the best show in town. Beautiful colors and the sound of the powerful waves crashing along with an occasional shout from a guy in the water makes this a tradition in my town.
