I love painting the beautiful beaches of Crystal Cove. The colors change with the time of the day and the seasons.
Here, the morning sun is warming up the cliffs and the marine layer is starting to recede. Most morning we have a marine layer that hangs over the coastline until 10 am or so. The glistening waves indicate the sun is poking through.
The steep path leading down to the beach is in the very foreground.
If you have not visited this beach, you should make it a point, it is heavenly.
