I painted this plein air in a demonstration at Chemer's Gallery in Tustin. Unlike the previous two Docked paintings, this one does not have a painting underneath. It is more crisp and fresh looking, without the heavy indication of paint.
I like all 3 although different, the subject is the same.
I will explore the loose abstract boat subject with new interest.
This is in a beautiful black and silver Higbee Frame at Vin Goat in Corona Del Mar, Ca.
Customized with the name of a boat on the motor boat, this is going to a collector of mine. They will be giving if for a Christmas gift. It is such a wonderful compliment to have a painting be purchased as a gift. The trust involved is what I love the most.
